Environmental Expo set in Kuwait in October
The conference is seeking to highlight options for the sustainable development in the power and water sector.

The Oman International Trade and Exhibitions (OITE) and Kuwait International Fair (KIF) will be holding the Kuwait Environment, Water and Energy Exhibition (KEWE) for the first time from 3rd to 5th October at the International Fairs Ground, Mishref, Kuwait.

A spin-off of the Sultanate’s Gulf Eco Expo, KEWE is hoping to attract the biggest names in Kuwait’s environment sector focusing on Environment, Water and clean Energy.

Themed “Moving towards a sustainable future”, KEWE will hold a two-day conference from 3rd to 4th October at the Kuwait International Exhibition Centre. KEWE Conference 2010 is aimed to provide a platform for stakeholders, policy-makers, researchers, academia and leaders in the business community to discuss various challenges, issues and opportunities concerning Kuwait’s present environment.

Sherwin Sevillena, Sr. Manager – Research and Development and Conference Manager of OITE, said, “KEWE will gather together top decision makers in Kuwait and across the region to forge cooperation and identify the environment problems, innovative solutions and enhance public awareness on the region’s environmental and climate change issues and challenges.”

KEWE Expo and Conference 2010 aims to highlight Kuwait’s industrial development and urbanisation, showcasing a broad range of environmentally friendly products, technologies, services and solutions, which help manage environment pollution and climate control.
