Phoenix Contact Middle East is set to present a wide range of its products and latest innovations in the field of electrical connection technology, electronic interface, automation systems as well as solutions for the energy, infrastructure, and process industries at next week’s Middle East Electricity Exhibition.

Latest innovations include Safe Energy Control (SEC) technology, which is the basis for durable and powerful lightning and surge protection. Its core is the revolutionary spark gap which safely prevents any line follow current.

“This innovation protects your system, including fuses and arresters. A separate arrester backup fuse is therefore no longer needed in all common applications,” said a company official.

Another product innovation is the DC UPS solution which ensures maximum availability of plants and systems. The various storage media feature a wide range of different benefits, such as long service life or very long buffer time, no maintenance, and use at extreme ambient temperatures.

The company said that it registered significant growth last year especially in process and infrastructure, and is looking to expand further through new investments in 2016.

Phoenix Contact, which has participant in all previous MEEE events will be on Stand 6A10 –Hall 6 at Dubai World Trade Centre throughout the duration of the exhibition.

The event is expected to attract over 1,500 power suppliers and manufacturers from over 62 countries who will be showcasing their latest innovations on power generation, transmission and distribution.
