Honeywell will debut Honeywell Forge for Industrial, its new enterprise performance management software for operational technology, for the first time in the Middle East at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). In addition, Honeywell will present a suite of industrial software solutions designed to strengthen cybersecurity, improve safety and empower workers to make better, faster and more accurate decisions.

With Honeywell Forge for Industrial, a business can use insights from real-time benchmarking to help make better decisions that impact equipment performance, reliability, safety and profitability. The new software analytics platform provides industrial plants with insights, actionable recommendations and potential significant savings through optimization recommendations, reduced energy consumption and process efficiencies.

“A major theme for this year’s ADIPEC is the advancement of digitalization and the role of Oil & Gas 4.0.,” said Norm Gilsdorf, president for Honeywell, High Growth Regions, Middle East, Russia and Customs Union. “Honeywell has been a trusted leader in the global oil and gas industry for more than a century and we are proud to be advancing digitalization with Honeywell Forge for Industrial. We are showcasing several powerful new software solutions that can improve performance – whether at a unit, plant, or enterprise level – by converting vast amount of data collected from processes, assets and people into intuitive, actionable insights. This enables safer operations and top-to-bottom visibility into how plants are performing from a single screen.”

Being held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from Nov. 11-14, 2019, ADIPEC brings together companies, decision-makers and policy-makers that help shape the future of oil and gas supply for focused dialogue that addresses today’s energy challenges and defines tomorrow’s energy landscape.

This year, as a Gold sponsor, Honeywell will facilitate dialogue among senior industry stakeholders about digitalization. On day 1 of the show, Norm Gilsdorf will open the Downstream Technical Conference with a presentation titled ‘Market Outlook Insights – The Evolving World of the Downstream Industry’.

On day 2 of the show, Honeywell will host a strategic Oil & Gas 4.0 roundtable discussion on how corporations need to adopt new cultures and mindsets to embrace digitalization and prepare themselves for continued technological disruption in the future.

Honeywell will also present its deep domain expertise and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions, coupled with leading industrial cybersecurity experience through a series of “Tech Talks” held on the Honeywell stand throughout the exhibition.
