ENOC has grown into a key partner in Dubai’s growth story, fulfilling the emirate’s energy needs with uninterrupted supplies. Aligned with the ambitions of Dubai and UAE through Dubai Plan 2021 and UAE Vision 2021, the Group recognised the importance of gaining full access to the value chain and moved forward with the full acquisition of Dragon Oil in 2015, to become the Group’s exploration and production arm.

This acquisition was a game changer for ENOC, transforming the Group into a fully integrated oil and gas player. This contributes to the creation of a knowledge-based economy as per the UAE’s Vision 2021, as well as building on the positive socio-economic influence of national oil companies (NOCs) in the UAE.

ENOC owns and operates assets in the fields of exploration and production, supply and operations, terminals, fuel retail, aviation fuel and petroleum products for commercial and industrial use. The Group’s general business operations includes automotive services, non-fuel F&B retail and fabrication services.

ENOC Group serves thousands of customers in over 60 markets, the Group has over 11,000 employees and is deploying its world-class customer service, latest innovations and technologies and best practices to empower the UAE’s social and economic development.

ENOC is a Strategic Sponsor of the 20th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX). The Group has always had a strong presence at WETEX since 2012.

“ENOC has always supported initiatives that create and bring sustainable value to the nation, reflecting its commitment to support Dubai’s Smart City initiative. We believe that WETEX 2018 offers a strategic platform to engage with key stakeholders, as it showcases the latest technologies in the water, energy, and environment sectors,” said Hesham Ali Mustafa, Executive Director, Shared Services Centre, Group HR and New Business Development, ENOC Group.

WETEX will offer ENOC and other industry players the opportunity to showcase key innovations and technologies that enhance energy efficiency and resource management.

“We hope to utilise this platform to educate visitors about the various innovative technologies we deploy across our operations. With the emphasis placed on alternative energy solutions, we look forward to contribute to the conversations around solar, as we will also be announcing a couple of milestone achievements during the course of the exhibition,” added Mustafa.

Mustafa said that the company will be demonstrating the Group’s technological innovations that contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and energy efficiency across the upstream, midstream and downstream operations.

“We plan to shed light on some of our key projects, including the ENOC Refinery in Jebel Ali, our jet fuel pipelines that connect our terminals in Jebel Ali to both Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport,” said Mustafa.

ENOC will showcase innovative technologies that are deployed across its fuel retail network of 122 service stations across the UAE, such as the Vapour Recovery System- a process that enables the recovery of 99% gasoline vapour emissions.

Other technologies also include the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) air-conditioning system that controls the refrigerant flowing into multiple indoor units, which contributed to annual electricity savings of 48,506 kWh, and LED lights in all facilities, PV panel and LED light solutions.

“We also plan to showcase alternative fuel offerings such as Biodiesel5, which is an advanced alternative green fuel introduced to the UAE to reduce carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions,” said Mustafa.

The Group will also highlight benefits of using Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), which results in fewer pollutant and Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions than traditional fuel, reducing the release of harmful emissions and decreasing air pollution.

The ENOC Group booth at WETEX 2018 will be located at SSP1 – Zabeel hall 1.
