Aggreko to power Dubai's Rugby Sevens
Rented power generation provider to supply seven MW to event
Aggreko, a provider of temporary power, will be supplying mobile generators to this year’s Rubgy Sevens tournament held in Dubai.
The company will be renting generating equipment capable of providing six megawatts (MW) of electricity, as well as seven kilometres of cabling.
Aggreko will be providing temporary power to the event, held on December 2-4, for the eleventh consecutive year.
The power package will supply functions such as the big screen and broadcaster and security facilities, as well as lighting at the Rugby Village, the International Broadcast Centre and the VIP hospitality area. In addition, Aggreko will be providing a three MW cooling package to the VIP hospitality area, which will chill the corporate pavilions using temporary ducting designed and installed by Aggreko.
