It will offer a host of theoretical and practical KNX training courses to different countries in the region, including Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
The training center will offer two main KNX trainings per year and certify up to 50 individuals. It will also provide channel partners with support for supervision, testing and commissioning of KNX installations in hotels, commercial and residential buildings, universities and more.
“The centre will significantly raise the level of qualifications of specialists in the implementation and introduction of KNX standards, which is the key to spreading the technology in the region," said Tarek Zakaria head of ABB’s i-bus KNX intelligent building automation systems in the Gulf.
