Arabtech buys MWH stake in JV
Joint Venture to end after 18 years.
Arabtech Jardaneh, a Jordan-based engineering group and MWH, a wet infrastructure engineering and consulting firm, have agreed to part ways as Arabtech bought up MWH’s stake in a joint venture. The financial terms were not disclosed.
MWH Arabtech Jardaneh, which had been co-owned by the two companies for the past 18 years, will now be fully owned by Arabtech, and has been renamed as AJ Water & Environment (AJWE), MWH announced on Tuesday. The former JV will focus on sustainable utility infrastructure solutions for small and large communities.
AJWE is the latest fully-owned member of the Arabtech Jardaneh Group of companies and complements the comprehensive urban planning, building, infrastructure and healthcare services of the AJ group.
MWH provides management services, technical engineering, construction services and solutions for the wet infrastructure sector.
