Bee'ah wins Dibba Al Hisn's waste contract

Subsidiary Tandeef bags five-year deal for city on the Gulf of Oman.

Environmental company Bee’ah has signed a five-year waste management contract with Dibba Al Hisn Municipality.

Bee’ah’s cleaning division Tandeef is tasked with undertaking regular cleaning and waste management services for the city which is part of the emirate of Sharjah.

Tandeef will also be responsible for managing and enhancing the town’s recycling infrastructure.

Part of this initiative will involve supporting various environmental and educational awareness campaigns for government departments and academic institutions.

Khaled Al Huraimel, group CEO of Bee’ah, said: “The agreement will reflect positively on the local community as it will provide them with high level hygiene services of international standards, encourage environmentally friendly practices and promote the culture of recycling among residents through the organisation of environmental and educational campaigns inspiring sustainability among residents and visitors.”
