Gulf Jyoti pens GCC grid deals worth $93.5mn
Indian contractor to build power transmission lines in the UAE and Oman.
Indian EPC contractor Gulf Jyoti International (GJI) has clocked up transmission line projects worth INR 5.82bn ($93.44mn) in the UAE and Oman.
Gulf Jyoti International (GJI), a joint venture of the company and Gulf Investment Corporation of Kuwait, won a INR 3.1bn ($49.77mn) order for a 400 kV transmission line project in Oman, the company announced to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The same JV also bagged a INR 3.2bn ($51.37mn) order for a 400 kV transmission line from Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
The company also won orders worth INR 2.4bn ($38.53mn) for various projects for fabrication and supply of transmission line steel structures, the statement said.
