Oman launches tender for water upgrades
PAEW offering second package for works in Seeb province of Muscat governate.
Oman’s Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) has launched a tender for a second package of the main water network improvements in Muscat governate.
The OMR 6mn ($15.6mn) tender includes projects in the province of Seeb, the construction and supply of pipes and fittings, and valves and meters to reduce pressure linked with the command and control system (SCADA).
The project also includes the construction of a water tank with capacity of 7,000 cubic meters with water pipes ranging from 800mm to 200mm in diameter.
