Jepco slashes first half loss by over 20%
Jordanian company books $10mn deficit in the six month to 30 June.
Jordan Electric Power Company (JEPCO) narrowed losses by over 20% during the first half of this year.
The company booked a JOD 7 mn ($9.9mn) deficit down from JOD 9 mn during the first six months of 2013.
Income from sales reached JOD437.7 mn compared with JOD 359 mn, JEPCO said in a disclosure to the Amman Stock Exchange,
Total liabilities and equity rights rose to JOD 707 mn compared with JOD 634 mn.
