Veolia helps set up infrastructure training course
Agreement aims to develop knowledge in water and waste management.
Veolia, VeBes O&M (operator of Sewage Treatment Plant 2) and Abu Dhabi Polytechnic (AD Poly), have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up an education program focused on water and environment infrastructure maintenance.
The three organisations will work in partnership to initiate and support the program, which looks to diversify the economy by contributing to the education and development of UAE human resources.

The alliance further cements our commitment to building the Middle East as world-class hub for waste management and recycling and recovery of resources.”

Veolia is an environmental solutions company focused on water management, waste management and energy management.
VeBes O&M is the operating & maintenance company of the Independent Sewage Treatment Plant 2 (ISTP2) owned Al Watha Veolia Besix Waste Water PJSC. ISTP2 is a BOOT project consisting of the design, construction, financing and operation of two wastewater treatment plants in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
