KSA to invest $533mn in Taif water projects
National Water Company plans 30 projects in Taif worth $533 million.
Saudi Arabia's National Water Company (NWC) has reviewed its strategic development plan of services and infrastructure for the water sector and environmental processing in the city of Taif.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the company said that it has lined up more than 30 projects worth more than SAR2bn ($533mn) for this year and next.
The company added that these projects aim to raise operational efficiency, increase coverage ratios in populated areas and keep up with the demand for water and the provision of services according to best standards.
In February, the NWC is developing 60 projects that aim to improve the water and sewage infrastructure in Makkah at a total cost of $1.46bn (SAR 5.5bn).
