Bahra Cables signs $33mn contract with HHI
Cables to be used at Jeddah South Thermal Power Plant
Saudi Arabia's Bahra Cables has signed a contract worth US $33mm with Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) to supply low and medium voltage cables to be used at Jeddah South Thermal Power Plant stage-1(JSTPP).
The plant, owned by Saudi Electricity Company, will generate 2400-2800 MW of electricity and will cost US $3.2bn. The plant will cater to the electricity needs of 2 million people.
"Bahra Cables daily adds more clients to its network of clients of large local, regional and international companies that trust our products of cables which meet all requirements and highest international standards," Talal Idriss, CEO of Bahra Cables said.
