Petro Rabigh to dissolve IWPP
Petro Rabigh claims a pair of outages cost it up to US $50mn
Saudi Arabia-based Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company will dissolve the contracts governing the Rabigh IWPP after they claimed that outages have cost the company up to US $50mn, Global Water Intelligence reported.
The company was a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical which is now publicly held. Petro Rabigh's operates a 400,000-barrel capacity refinery located in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, which produces naphtha, kerosene, gasoline, diesel and fuel oil.
