Sohar Power appoints CEO
The firm operates the Oman's largest power generation plant
The board of directors of Sohar Power have appoint Guillaume Baudet as chief executive officer of the company as replacement of Arnaud de Limburg with effect from September 1, 2013.
This is a regular replacement in line with the policy of the company's main shareholder, Kahrabel FZE on management transfers. Baudet holds a master degree in finance and accounting from Institute Superior de Commerce, France, management degree from CEDEP/INSEAD, France & degree in business and administration from University de Toulon, France.
Guillaume Baudet has 18 years of experience in Finance. He joined Kahrabel FZE in 2007 as head of business control for the MENA region. Since January 2011, Baudet has been chief financial officer at Al Hidd Power company in Bahrain, in charge of finance and administration. Before joining Kahrabel FZE he occupied several CFO positions in Europe and North America.
Sohar Power owns and operates the Oman's largest power generation and water desalination plant.
