New Secretary General for DSCE
Dubai Supreme Council of Energy appoints Ahmed Buti Al Muhairabi
Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) has appointed Ahmed Buti Al Muhairabi as its new Secretary General, during a meeting with HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of the DSCE.
During the meeting, HH Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum stressed the importance of “making every effort and commitment to work to achieve the vital objectives of the Council; as the authority responsible for securing electricity and water supplies in Dubai”.
The DSCE also takes responsibility for planning electricity and water strategy, regulating rights and duties of service providers, and promoting the effective cost and quality of delivered services to end-users.
Also present during the reception, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Council, and MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, said that “all support will be provided to the new Secretary General to effectively and properly perform the duties of the job”.
Al Muhairabi stated his dedication to achieving the objectives of the DSCE, and said he would “spare no efforts, work relentlessly and positively cooperate with all the members of the Council”.
