Energy consultancy firm Xodus Group has reportedly launched operations in the Middle East, with the opening of a US $3.2 million office in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lake Towers. The firm, which operates in the Oil & Gas and low carbon energy markets, is set to base an initial 19 staff in the office, as part of wider regional expansion plans.

Reporting the development, the BBC has said that the firm is also considering similar moves into Abu Dhabi and Oman, and is viewing the Dubai office as a means to help drive business in the region.

The company, which launched back in 2005, is currently engaged on a global expansion project. It’s services range through risk-based decision making and technology development, through to project delivery and operational support.
