Contax Partners launches new GCC water venture
Aman Water will provide GCC with water disinfection technology
Contax Partners’ Business Investment division has announced that it has added Aman Water to its business investment portfolio. The firm, headquartered in Bahrain, holds exclusive rights in the Middle East to the CLO2Ix water disinfection technology which allows for the production of Chloride Dioxide in a safe and environmentally friendly way.
Chlorine Dioxide is an extremely effective oxidiser and biocide, and can be used in many water disinfection applications. Aman Water’s technology allows for the production of chlorine dioxide safely using a catalytic production system that the firm says dispenses the required amount free of by-products and without the need for storage.
“I am very encouraged by the levels of interest in the CLO2Ix technology we have seen from this region so far and by the diverse range of applications in which CL02Ix can provide excellent solutions for our clients. Since the launch of the technology, we have already installed CLO2Ix systems in various institutions including King Hamad University Hospital (Bahrain) and Al-Rai Foods (KSA) amongst others. We are looking forward to continue to offer this unique solution to serve local water treatment and disinfection needs and we have ambitious growth plans for the Middle East,” said Aman Water general manager Tony Mitchell.
Contax Partners CEO Filippo Fantechi added, “We are dedicated to introducing those niche and innovative technologies that would help our local clients to save costs, time and effort. We will be strengthening this exciting venture with our local operational support and business development capabilities in the Middle East energy arena.”
