Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity and Water has finalised contracts for the construction of nine new water storage towers, at a cost of $31 million.
The reinforced concrete towers will be completed and in use within the next 12 months, according to officials at the MEW, providing water for residents of Sabah Al-Ahmad and close-by communities.
