A new electricity transfer station in Deir Ezzor, Syria has been inaugurated, producing 40 megavolt amperes at a cost of $4.1 million.

Fawaz al-Saleh, the director of the province’s electricity company, has said that the station will help to ease pressure on the al-Bukamal and al-Dweir transfer stations.
