Several thousand metres of electrical cable has been stolen in Lebanon, causing power outages, according to a report by The Daily Star.

Targeted in three separate robberies, thieves stole 2,100 metres of cable from 15 utility poles on the main road in Bisriin Jezzine, and 1,400 metres of cable in the village of Blida. Thieves also stole $4,000 worth of electrical cable from a provate generator owned by JeanClaude Abdullah.
