International conference hopes to solve challenges in power generation
A four-day conference in Syria to discuss the challenges faced by the electricity and power sectors has got underway in Damascus, as the country looks to secure its future energy resources.
The fourth Syrian International Power and Electricity Exhibition has seen the participation of more than 70 companies from around the world come together, covering the power station, generating, transferring and distribution areas.
Abdul-Halim Qasem, Assistant Minister of Electricity has emphasised the importance of the event in getting acquainted with the latest developments in the domain of preparing and implementing electricity projects, and also that it represents an opportunity for specialists at the Ministry to benefit from international expertise.
