Samsung Gulf Electronics, in cooperation with Bayanat Electro Mechanical Company, has won the first Digital Variable Multi (DVM) Plus III air conditioning project for the UAE’s first nuclear power plant.

Woojin M&E, the Korean engineering firm responsible for the project, is the first to deploy the company’s latest generation of multi-zone modular energy efficient systems, which Samsung claims utilise advanced energy-saving techniques.

Discussing the win, Hani Nadaf, head of CAC – B2B at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said: “Woojin M&E was looking for cutting-edge technology in air conditioning, that was both innovative and environmentally friendly. DVM Plus III is the latest version of our DVM series, and offers a comprehensive cost and energy efficient solution that fulfills all of the Braka Nuclear Power Plant project’s air conditioning needs.”
