Samsung favourite for Saudi NGL project
Sources say Samsung's superior bids may clinch Shaybah NGL project
Samsung Engineering looks likely to win all four engineering, procurement and construction packages to build Saudi Arabia’s multi-billion dollar Shaybah natural gas liquids project, Reuters has reported.
The company is deemed to have submitted the most attractive bids, according to sources intimate with the project, which has been valued between $5 and $6bn.
Once operational, Shaybah is expected to process 2.4 billion cubic feet per day of low-sulphur sweet gas.
