Countdown to Saudi Water and Power Forum continues
Event to focus on opportunities for investment in Kingdom's utilities
The Saudi Water and Power Forum (SWPF) will celebrate its fifth anniversary this year by focusing on the ever-increasing demand and abundant opportunities for investment in the upgrading and expansion of power and water services in the Kingdom.
Organiser CWC Group says that SWPF exhibition has also sold out, with around 2500 exhibitors and visitors expected to attend.
SWPF has also just announced a new partnership with the National Water Company (NWC) to host a full-day seminar to present the contracts the firm will have on offer. Delgates will also be invited on a site visit to Jeddah’s desalination plants.
Among the keynote speakers are HE Abdullah Al-Hussayen, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Water & Electricity, HRH Prince Khalid Bin Faisal Bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Makkah Region and author and journalist Fred Pearce.
Programme topics include: strategies for sustainable and efficient production; plant upgrades; alternative energy sources; tariff policy, demand management and customer service; water re-use and environmental management; privatisation; decentralised production solutions; impact of the global financial crisis on the sector; and technology development and investment.
