Jordan is seeking financial help to upgrade its water infrastructure.

 Jordan has requested soft loans from Japan to finance projects in the water and healthcare sectors, reports the Kuwait News Agency.

Planning minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan made the request to Japan’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, Koichi Takemasa, during talks held in Amman over a bilateral cooperation programme , a spokesman for the country’s Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation confirmed to the news agency.
