Water conservation efforts have gained momentum as GCC governments attempt to scale down water expenditure

Municipal and domestic water requirements continue to be dogged with high percentages of non-revenue water (NRW) in the municipal distribution network, particularly its physical leakage component, compelling them to take immediate action towards conservation.

This move is offering solutions providers such as Singer Valve with an opportunity to introduce new more specialised products which offer the end user more control of their network. Some of these products feature SCADA control, specialised electronic control panels, flow metering, flow totalising, time-based pressure reducing control, flow based pressure reducing and more as explained by Ramzi Soujah, general manager, Singer Valve.
