Emerson announces acquisition of ISE Magtech

Emerson Process Management has announced that it has completed the acquisition of ISE Magtech, a designer and manufacturer of level gages and related equipment for use in industry. Emerson has stated that the move will strengthen its level measurement offerings in the power generation, oil and gas and refining industries.

Rosemount Measurement president Tom Moser said of the deal, "ISE Magtech is one of the industry's most recognised providers of magnetic level gages and transmitters – a complement to Emerson's end-user-voted industry leading instrumentation."

"This acquisition is strategic to extending our solutions to help oil & gas, refining, chemical and power plant operators to monitor and control condition in a wide range of applications," he adds.

Emerson have said that ISE Maghtech's Magnetic Level Gage, when paired with their Rosemount Guided Wave Rader, will allow for a complete liquid measurement solution that will provide for plant operators' needs for visual and automated system monitoring.
