New CEO for Oman's Haya Water

Omani water utility Haya Water appoints new CEO.

Oman-based Haya water has announced the appointment of a new CEO Hussain Hassan Ali Abdul Hussain, following Omar Al Wahaibi’s departure to head up the Electricity Holding Company.

Commenting on his appointment Hussain said: "I am truly honoured to be selected by the Board of Directors of Haya to lead the executive management team. Together we will continue working with the same level of diligence, care and enthusiasm to deliver the mission and vision entrusted to Haya.
"I have already been impressed by the professionalism, commitment and expertise of the team here at Haya and I am looking forward to working with them to achieve our goal of making Muscat a better city through the implementation of our world-class water reuse project.

The new CEO has worked in the oil and gas, operations, engineering and commercial development industries for 24 years, having worked at Petroleum Development Middle East, Oman Oil Company and also helping to set up Oman Petrochemicals Industries Company.
