S. Korean firm inks $233m Qatar power deal

A South Korean construction firm has announced it has signed a $233m contract for the construction of eight electricity substations in Qatar.
Under the terms of the contract, Hyosun Power and Industrial Systems Performance Group will construct six 220kV and two 66kV electrical transformer substations, and also be in charge of both the procurement and engineering of the projects, due for completion by Q4 2013.
