DEWA MD & CEO receives banking delegation in Dubai

HE Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer meeting with bankers from Morgan Stanley in Dubai.

HE Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) received a delegation of bankers and financiers at his offices and company HQ in Dubai.

Colm Kelleher, Co-President for Institutional Securities at Morgan Stanley accompanied by Sarmad Lone, Managing Director of Morgan Stanley and Habib Achkar, Managing Director and Regional Manager for Middle East & North Africa (MENA) were present at the meeting.

DEWA says the meeting was geared around strengthening cooperation between DEWA and Morgan Stanley, which offers a comprehensive range of services, including investment banking and securities.

"The strategic and investment plan of DEWA is a clear indication of the stability and strength of Dubai’s financial and economic position," said HE Al Tayer.

The delegation briefed HE Saeed Al Tayer on the financial services of Morgan Stanley in the field of notes, credit services, and capital markets, among others.

Also, the delegation praised the facilities and services provided by DEWA to US financial companies and institutions operating in Dubai, which will enable them to constantly advance in their work.

At the end of the visit, Morgan Stanley’s delegation extended their thanks to HS Saeed Mohamed Al Tayer MD & CEO of DEWA for the warm reception and providing a personal briefing on Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and its projects.
