Iran’s much-delayed nuclear plant Bushehr will being producing electricity within two months, the Iranian ambassador has told Russia, according to a report by the Tehran Times.
The nuclear facility has been beset by difficulties since construction first started in the mid-1970s, with engineers recently removing fuel from the Russian-built plant after a water pump failed.
Last week, officials announced that the plant would be connected to the nation’s electricity grid inside three months.
